We each have an impact on our common future.
The main goal of the CONNECTUS association is to support volunteer work and the principle of self-help in society, the integration of young people with limited opportunities, the support of ecology, youth mobility, environmental protection and sustainable development.
These are achieved through active participation in European networks (PLATFORM NETWORK), in cooperation with public and private non-profit organizations, educational organizations and schools in Slovakia and abroad, with the aim of making national and world cultural heritage and creativity visible and supporting meaningful leisure activities of citizens, especially young people.
We constantly strive to support our community by offering young people opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and participation in international initiatives that promote solidarity, sustainability, and healthy cultural awareness.
We are an organization actively involved in the Erasmus+ program, dedicated to promoting European values through various educational and cultural activities. Our past and ongoing projects are in line with the key objectives of the Erasmus+ program: promoting solidarity, European citizenship, democracy, and promoting shared values and environmental awareness.
Our association has 3 youth workers (pedagogues), art teachers, IT specialists and various members of different professions, including local volunteers, among its members.
Some of them have many years of experience with mobility programmes (YOUTH IN ACTION, LEONARDO DA VINCI, GRUNDTVIG, LIFELONG LEARNING PROGRAMME, etc.).
Some of these professionals are mentors for our local volunteer projects. Staff and our members are able to coordinate projects, support participants before, during and after their project, during activities and provide them with the necessary mentoring.
We are able to plan, organize, administer and support projects and deliver all necessary financial, pedagogical and reporting documents for grants.
Participants are supported throughout the duration of the project and also during their free time activities by our staff, who are available to them in case of various questions and needs before and after the project.
